It was our role to form the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), and Department for Business and Trade (DBT), which replaced Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and Department for International Trade (DIT).
As part of this work we delivered five new ledgers, five new payrolls, system changes, new email addresses and four onboarding projects, which positively impacted 12,000 people.
MoG changes are critical to the government infrastructure demanding a rapid response, a robust plan and fixed delivery outcomes in line with Ministerial priorities.
Another award shortlist honour
We’re delighted to be in the run in for the Customer Collaboration category at this year's Future Vision Awards. The nomination recognised our Machinery of Government (MoG) project, where we created three new government departments from two existing entities.
Our strategic approach
Our strategic approach was to ensure collaboration at all levels, by adopting an agile approach using data, continuous learning, and frequent check ins to provide a current picture of progress.
The Future Vision Awards are given by the Shared Services Forum UK to recognise organisations and individuals who are shaping the future of their business.
The winners will be announced at Aintree Racecourse on Tuesday 12 November.
More information about our MOG project is available on our website and LinkedIn.
