This week, (7-11 October), we will be celebrating colleagues in our Customer Service teams and across our organisation as part of the Institute of Customer Service (ICS) National Customer Service Week.

The Institute of Customer Service (ICS) is the national, independent professional membership body for customer service, working across all sectors to drive business performance through service excellence. Our membership to ICS is an important part of maintaining our commitment to our customers, as it helps us to make sure that we are keeping up to date with best practice across the industry.

Richard Semple, UKSBS CEO shared why this week is important in UKSBS:

“National Customer Services Week is incredibly important to us because as a shared service provider, we are absolutely focused on providing the best quality of service that we possibly can for our clients and each individual customer that takes service from us.

Being a member of the Institute, it brings us together in a wider network of all those members of the institute who can regularly come together, share thoughts and ideas, best practice and learn from each other.

This week now provides us with a real opportunity to reinforce that message into UKSBS, and our stakeholder community.”
