Our Head of RISC scoops 2 national awards!

Kathryn Hollingworth, our Head of RISC won 2 awards in Women in Governance, Risk and Assurance (GRC) awards held in London last night (11 July).  Also nominated was Jade Martin, Risk and Assurance Manager in the GRC Innovator of the Year category.

Shortlisted for Chief Privacy Officer of the Year alongside women from Virgin Media, TikTok and more, Kathryn won this category for her work in revamping the approach to review to Governance and Risk enabling an overhaul of privacy polices and established important relationships with key stakeholders creating a Privacy by Design culture.

Woman of the Year

The second award for Woman of the Year was awarded to the most outstanding women across all categories. Alongside UKSBS as a nominee, were women from high profile businesses including KPMG, Vodafone  and CapGemini, with Kathryn recognised as overall winner of the night.

Kathryn said, "To win one award is exciting enough but to be honoured for a second was not expected. As with all recognition, the hard work is shared across the team and RISC is no different. Special thanks to my team and everyone who works with us to keep our company secure. It was a privilege to be shortlisted alongside some amazing women in the sector including Jade.”
